Our Mission...

Within our school community we look after each other. We want everyone in our school to learn and grow in a happy, healthy, safe and loving place, following the way of Jesus.

Welcome to the website of Ss. Peter & Paul’s Catholic Primary School.

We are a small school situated in the picturesque village of Mawdesley in open countryside in the heart of rural West Lancashire.

The school has been serving the children and families of this rural area for over 150 years. The school lies on its original site at the junction of Ridley Lane and Back Lane East, and attracts pupils aged 4-11 not only from Mawdesley but also from the surrounding villages of  Croston, Rufford, Heskin, Eccleston, Hilldale and Parbold.

We are a very friendly school with strong family values and love to welcome new pupils into our school community.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website, should you wish to visit the school please make an appointment with the school secretary. Details can be found under, Our School, Contact Details.

Moving to the area? Places available in most age groups for admission this academic year. Please ring the school on 01704  822216 for an informal chat and to arrange a visit to the school. We welcome children from all faith groups and those without a faith.
